An Alabama non-profit organization, Claybird Bee Education Association, Inc., has been established for the purpose of promoting and presenting beekeeping to underserved areas of Alabama and in selected international locations.

Claybird Bee Education Association, Inc., based in Opelika, has received approval by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable tax-exempt educational organization. This means that contributions and donations made to this corporation are tax deductible.

Damon Wallace, current president of Claybird Bee Education Association, Inc., will report on the activities currently undertaken by the charity as well as requests for resources of materials, funds, and instructors that will be needed in the near future around Alabama and elsewhere.

President Damon Wallace, Vice President Richard Battles, and Treasurer Linda Wyckoff will be developing strategy and programs in the coming months as the activities of the corporation come to fruition.
